    Does installation require a plumber or electrician?

    No. The device is battery-powered and requires no wiring, drilling, or plumbing. Our trained technician installs it in under 30 minutes using only the included mounting hardware. No tradesperson needed.

    What tank types does it work with?

    The Pani Express smart device is compatible with all common tank types found in Islamabad and Rawalpindi — overhead plastic tanks, underground cement tanks, steel tanks, and fibreglass tanks. It works regardless of tank size. Our technician will confirm compatibility on arrival.

    How does the device connect? Does it need WiFi?

    No WiFi needed. The device uses low-power IoT/4G connectivity via mobile data coverage. As long as there's mobile signal at your property (which covers virtually all of our service areas), the device will connect and transmit data. No router setup, no password sharing.

    Can I turn off auto-dispatch if I'm away or the tank is already being filled?

    Yes. You can pause auto-dispatch at any time from the app — for a day, a week, or indefinitely. You can also switch between Auto, One-Tap, and Alert-Only modes whenever you like. The device continues monitoring regardless of your dispatch mode setting.

    What happens when the battery runs low?

    You receive an automatic low-battery alert via app and WhatsApp well in advance. Our team can arrange a battery replacement visit — it's a simple swap that takes a few minutes. Battery life is designed to last several months under normal usage.

    Is there a monthly fee for the smart device?

    Contact us for current pricing — the device and installation are included in our Smart Plan. There is no separate recurring charge for monitoring. You only pay for the actual tanker deliveries when they are dispatched.

    Can one device monitor multiple tanks?

    Each device monitors one tank. For properties with multiple tanks — such as housing societies or apartment buildings — we install one device per tank, and all readings appear together on the property manager dashboard. Contact us for multi-tank installation packages.
